Jampro antennas help TV Azteca expand DTV network

TV Azteca, one of Latin America’s largest television networks, will install three DTV antenna systems from Jampro Antennas, helping to expand TV Azteca’s channels to 15. All incorporate Jampro antennas, combiners, mask filters, antenna switch frames and Jampro’s Proline brand of rigid transmission line.

Alex M. Perchevitch, Jampro president, said the company installed a low-wind loading, cost- effective DTV solution with adaptive technology at TV Azteca’s Mexico City headquarters that will help the broadcaster grow over the long term without the limitations of excessive tower loading.

Two of the TV Azteca DTV systems to be installed are a Jampro PROSTAR broadband UHF slot antenna, designed to combine several UHF channels over a segment of the UHF bands IV/V and a Jampro JHD broadband VHF panel antenna.
