Fujinon will introduce two new lenses designed for 1/2-inch HD cameras--the HSs18x5.5BERM-D38 and HSs18x5.5BERD-D38 HD. Both feature an 18x zoom range and a wide-angle of 5.5 mm. The D38 features a servozoom and focus.
The focal length range of the lenses is 5.5 to 100 mm, the wide-angle of view, 64 degrees at 5.5 mm. They have a maximum relative aperture of 1.8 at 100 mm and an M.O.D. of 0.6m from the front of the lens. Users have the option of adding Fujinon lens controllers and wide-angle or telephoto adapters. Both lenses come with Fujinon Inner Focus technology to minimize lens breathing, and they feature Fujinon GO technology for minimizing chromatic aberration and improving contrast and edge sharpness. The new additions bring the Fujinon 1/2-inch HD line to a total of eight lenses.
