Extensis releases Portfolio 8.5.1 update for Mac’s Leopard

Extensis has released Portfolio 8.5.1, a free update that makes its Porfolio 8.5 family of digital asset management software products compatible with Apple’s New OS X 10.5 Leopard operating system.

In addition to offering full compatibility for users of Mac OS X 10.5 , the update offers RAW file formats for a group of digital cameras including the Canon EOS-1Ds Mark III, EOS 40D, and PowerShot G9, Nikon D3 and D300, Olympus E-3 and Sony DSLR-A700.

Featuring improved performance and stability, the new version also offers enhanced metadata support and management via Adobe Bridge, as well as support for saving and exporting Catalog Types, and improved asset usage logging in NetPublish.

Portfolio 8.5 software allows users to visually organize, sort and preview a complete library of digital assets — both online and offline. Its built-in automated features allow users to quickly embed metadata into, archive, and share assets with partners, clients and vendors.
