Dielectric Introduces 700 MHz DR filter at IBC2008

Dielectric Communications is bringing a number of new products to IBC, including its 700 MHz DR filter for mobile media market applications.

The bandpass filter has a power handling capacity of up to 800 W and exhibits less than 0.6 dB on insertion loss throughout the band of interest. It is provided in a compact rackmountable package.

The company will also show its TUM high-power broadband UHF television transmitting antenna. The product features a variable polarization ration ranging from zero to 100 percent and a single input design to reduce feed complexity. The TUM antenna has a 200 MHz bandwidth, presents a VSWR of 1.1:1 and has a power handling capability of 2 kW per panel.

In addition to filters and antennas, Dielectric will introduce its Scout XLT monitoring system which features enhanced Web server applications and touch screens.
