Crispin implements BXF at WGCU-TV
By TVTechnology published
Crispin has implemented a Broadcast Exchange Format (BXF) interface between traffic and automation, based on the emerging SMPTE BXF protocol standard, at WGCU-TV, a Fort Myers, FL, a PBS affiliate co-located with Florida Gulf Coast University.
The system provides a dynamic and automated exchange of the traffic program schedule from ProTrack to Crispin automation. RapidPlayX, Crispin's scalable on-air playback application, can automatically load the program schedule for fully automated, on-air presentation. The new dynamic exchange eliminates the need for manual steps in the file and material transfer process.
