ATEN unveils new line of video switches

ATEN recently unveiled its new line of digital signage audio/video switches intended for retail environments, public venues, corporate offices and a range of other marketing purposes.

ATEN clients optimizing their video products for digital signage include Sherlock Systems, a hardware IT integration company that develops custom-built systems for specialized software applications and PC-based control devices. The company installs ATEN video products for its clients that need to pipe video to multiple monitors as well as extend it past normal video lengths.

The new line includes video matrix switches designed to route audio and high-resolution video to multiple sources including monitors, projectors and recorders. The company has already unveiled the VS0202, a two-port video matrix switch that outputs audio and video from two separate computers to two sources including monitors, projectors and speakers. It has also unveiled the VS0204 and VS0404 switches, the latter of which is a four-port video matrix switch that outputs audio and video from four separate computers.
