Adtec Digital brought their star product to this year’s IBC Show, the HDMI2QAM dual-channel broadcast distribution encoder.
Featuring QAM modulation and built-in RF up-conversion, this device is suited for cable television applications with distribution through coaxial networks.
Other features include dual SD and HD encoding potential, automatic video rate detection based on HDMI input resolution, ASI and GigE output for non-RF applications, compliance with DVB SI and ATSC A69 specifications and support for closed captioning and EAS.
