Miranda’s highlights new routers

Miranda Technologies (SU2807) concluded the purchase of NVISION near the end of 2008. At NAB, the company is highlighting its new series of routers with the NV5100MC multichannel, master control switching and branding system (HD/SD). The series of routers offer a cost-effective modular design, a wide choice of control panels and tight router integration. It also provides multichannel audio control with Dolby E decoding and a full preview. It can be integrated with the Intuition XG co-processor for advanced graphics.

Another router platform is the Miranda NVISION 8500 / 8256 / 7512 / 5256 Enterprise Class routers (3Gbps/HD/SD). These are large facility routers, providing the highest level of dependability. The routers provide full power supply, controller, and crosspoint redundancy so you’ll never be without a house router. The routers also are fully scalable to very large sized, up to 1152 x 1152, using 3Gbps 1080p/3D) and HD/SD/ASI.

The NVISION division was acquired just after the first of this year. The acquisition of NVISION provides Miranda a full line of products. Speaking with Michel Proulx in January, he said that their research showed that customers typically needed to buy both routers and facility conversion time simultaneously. Now Miranda is perfectly position to meet that sweet spot he said.
