MultiDyne Video and Fiber Optic Systems has appointed Bob McAlpine to the post of the company's vice president of global sales and business development.
The Locust Valley, N.Y. fiber-optic systems manufacturer said that McAlpine would be responsible for continued promotion and development of product market opportunities throughout the world.
"Bob's extensive experience in managing growth in multiple video markets, his knowledge of industry applications, and established relationships within the industry will be invaluable to our organization as we continue to expand our operations worldwide," said Jim Jachetta, MultiDyne's senior vice president of sales and marketing. "His expertise fits well with MultiDyne's plans for future market growth in the broadcast television industry, and we're very pleased to welcome him onboard."
McAlpine had been with PESA Switching Systems as senior vice president of sales and marketing, and most recently as vice president of sales and marketing at QuStream Corp.
