Keslow Television (KTV) recently purchased two Fujinon HA13X4.5BERM wide-angle ENG-style lenses for its rental department.
"The requirement for HD acquisition has become more prevalent in every area of television production, and particularly in sports," said James Palmer, vice president and general manager of Keslow Television. "For KTV, the HA13X4.5BERM offers a natural balance between cost and performance."
The New York-based production company said it acquired its first HA13X4.5BERM lenses last summer, and has since rented the lenses out to mobile production companies and network television sports programs, including last season's Major League Baseball coverage, as well as for the current NFL and NHL seasons.
The HA13x4.5BERM is a 2/3-inch format wide-angle lens with the widest angle in the market -- 4.5mm with a 93.6-degree horizontal field of view. It also comes with extender manual focus servo zoom.
