Crispin Appoints New CEO

Crispin Corp. has appointed Dave Neal as its chief executive officer.

Neal's appointment allows Alan DeVany, the company's founder, to focus on product development, customer service and support. DeVany will retain his title of president.

Neal, 47, brings 18 years of senior level management experience in technology, software and capital equipment financing to the Raleigh, NC-based developer of broadcast automation software.

As CEO, Neal will oversee daily operations including financial, legal, growth strategy and strategic planning.

Neal was previously chief financial officer of Bloodhound, Inc. an ASP specializing in medical claims of overpayment services and medial bill data analysis. Prior to that he was a principal at Accelerant Ventures.

He holds a bachelor's degree in business from UNC-Chapel Hill and a master's degree in business administration from the Stanford Graduate School of Business. He also holds a Juris Doctorate from the UNC School of Law.
