Sundance Digital Titan Automates OETA

The Oklahoma Educational Television Authority is making the transition to digital with the Sundance Digital Titan.

The automation system will drive a RAID protected multichannel Omneon server and Sony and Panasonic multiformat VTRs. OETA will install the Sundance Intelli-Sat Broadcast Manager to schedule and record satellite feeds. Titan will control playlists of five channels, four DTV plus one mix of SD and HD. Titan will integrate with the station's traffic and PSIP interfaces.

From its Oklahoma City headquarters, the on-air launch is slated for the network's third fiscal quarter 2005.
