The Church at Pinnacle Hills, located in Rogers, Ark., is now using a Network Electronics routing system for high-definition video and digital audio within its new facility.
The new 17,000-square-foot sanctuary relies on Network Electronics VikinX HD3232M and AD64x64-110 AES/EBU matrices for switching requirements associated with transmission, post production, studio and HD video display applications.
Sounds Great Integration tailored the Network Electronics matrices for the church's requirements.
"Pinnacle Hills is now on the cutting-edge of video and electronic media technology and this is one system that is as close to 'state-of-the-art' as a system can get," said Tony Bishop, general manager/senior designer at SG Integration.
Bishop said that his firm has used Network Electronics gear on another installation and had been both impressed and pleased with the results.
"The quality was excellent and the interface was very good, so I didn't even think twice when I started looking at my routing equipment--Network Electronics fit right in," Bishop said.
The new church facility is using the Network Electronics routing equipment in conjunction with high definition including seven Ikegami HD cameras, two Ross Video switchers, Sony XDCAM HD digital disc recorders and Barco 16:9-foot, 6 mm LED video displays.
