Emerson Network Power Shows Expanded Product Portfolio

Emerson Network Power, a business of Emerson, will highlight its four distinct product lines—Johnson, Stratos Optical, Trompeter and Vitelec—at IBC2008.

The company will show the refined video patch jack series from Trompeter, which features self-wiping contacts on the normal-thru actuator and an optimized cover that improves high-frequency S-parameter effects up to 3 GHz (SMPTE424M). It will also showcase the Trompeter Black BNC—the HD UPL2000 series crimp connector, updated for use with the new low-loss coaxial cables found in HD applications.

In the Stratos line, the 3G-SDI fiber-optic interface technology will be on display. It makes 1080p/60 and 1080p/50 transport over fiber available. Also, the new Stratos rugged switchable unit, VMAES, offers the remote embedding or de-embedding of AES audio along with HD/SD video for a complete fiber/copper transport conversion between electrical and optical streams (SMPTE 292M/297M).

Also new is the Stratos DVI Lite-Blok single fiber solution, ideal for transporting DVI over up to a kilometer of multimode fiber, enabling remote placement of computer video monitors. Emerson Network Power will also demonstrate its Stratos Expanded Beam optical connector range.

Also on hand will be the Johnson and Vitelec range of high-quality, state-of-the-art RF coaxial connectors and cables.

Emerson will be at Stand 10.B15.
