TV Bandeirantes has purchased a Ross Vision 3 production switcher and an OverDrive production control system. One of Brazil’s largest networks, TV Bandeirantes will use the switcher and automation system for news playout, interconnected with its existing AP ENPS news system.
The Vision Series is Ross' next generation of multidefinition production switchers, which handles SD and HD formats. The Vision MD/X is well suited for newscasts, sports and special events with either HD or SD requirements or a mix of both.
OverDrive is a highly flexible production control system with a LiveLink MOS interface to newsroom editorial systems. Using the extensive device control capabilities of Vision video production switchers, OverDrive extends the reach of the technical director to include control of video servers, audio mixers, robotic cameras and more. OverDrive’s centralized control enables the operator to execute a more consistent, sophisticated production on the air while reducing personnel needed.
