Digigram, RAMI develop joint product

The companies have signed an agreement to implement USB technology in their professional products

Digigram and RAMI, a French manufacturer of professional audio products, will begin using Digigram’s professional USB Audio module in RAMI's new product lines.

After a six-week development cycle, the first Digigram-powered device is the new RAMI workstation audio mixer, the PJO 550.

The PJO 550 is designed for broadcast applications such as TV voice tracking. Audio connects to the computer through a USB port. A stereo line signal from the computer, a balanced microphone signal, and an auxiliary balanced line stereo signal can be mixed and recorded as a stereo signal to the computer or routed to a balanced stereo output. The microphone input features phantom power, an equalizer, a limiter and a balanced insert for voice processing.
