By TVTechnology published
CBS TV announced this week that from now until Jan. 2, the network would be making available--via streaming--encore performances of two of its comedy series, "Two and a Half Men" and "How I Met Your Mother." The full episodes will be presented free and without commercials on Yahoo. The event marks the first time that Yahoo has streamed a CBS television series episode in its entirety. The shows can be viewed at "CBS Comedy Bowl" .
"We're always looking for ways to provide current and potential new viewers every possible opportunity to sample our series," said Nancy Tellem, president of the CBS Paramount Network Television Entertainment Group. She added that the network wanted to be where the viewers were, and at this time of year many prospective viewers would be at home and surfing the Internet.
The episodes being made available are "We Called It Mr. Pinky" and "Madame and Her Special Friend" from "Two and a Half Men" and "The Pineapple Incident" and "The Sweet Taste of Liberty" from "How I Met Your Mother."
