Xicom Technology has released new 50- and 100-Watt high power amplifiers for use in C-band satellite communications.
The 5.85-6.425 GHz antenna-mount solid state power amplifier (SSPA) are designed to enhance system performance and provide cost-effective maintenance.
Similar in size to Xicom's standard 170 Watt C-band TWTA outdoor unit, the new SSPAs uses the same control protocol and same thermal management techniques. The new SSPAs feature modular design in the RF subsystem and power supply to make component upgrades and maintenance easy.
