Wheatstone to debut next-generation TV console

Wheatstone, a maker of broadcast audio mixing consoles and routers, will demonstrate its latest digital audio mixing board, the D-9TV Digital Television Console, at NAB 2004 (booth# N2802).

Designed for mid-market stations and small production facilities that produce live and studio programming, the D-9TV can direct any source to any fader and is equipped with integral dynamics/EQ functions along with full event recall. Multiple mix-minus clean feeds, individual channel Bus-Minus(r) outputs, and 5.1 digital surround sound features ensure optimum broadcast clarity. Its compact size works perfectly in mobile truck installations.

The D-9TV is powered by the Wheatstone Bridge Engine and includes the ability to access and send unlimited sources and feeds throughout an entire infrastructure of control surfaces.

Wheatstone will also show its D-5.1 Digital Television Console at NAB, that includes features tailored to the challenges of major-market live production and TV news. System resources can be shared by multiple surfaces and internal signal routing assigns any source to any channel. The live television board’s audio master control is further enhanced by complete 5.1 Surround Sound capability in all D-5.1 inputs, outputs, and monitors.
