Videolink Connects On-Air Talent, Broadcasters with Fujinon Gear

The new Fujinon CPT-70F-02A is the latest in pan-and-tilt technology that Videolink is using to provide broadcast transmission services to worldwide networks and corporations.

Videolink uses the Fujinon ReadyCamR--a remotely controlled robotic studio that provides a live on-air link between talent and broadcasters

Philadelphia and Baltimore Videolink bureaus use Fujinon lenses on NTSC and HD cameras for single- and multicamera productions.

Engineers control the pan-and-tilt heads from Videolink facilities with Fujinon EOP-102J-30D control systems and the client delivers messages via television network live shots, Webcasts or corporate videoconferences.

A Videolink ReadyCamR studio includes the Fujinon pan-and-tilt system, broadcast camera, audio and studio lighting packages, remote control interface, TV monitor and VCR. The Fujinon control systems connect to the ReadyCamR system through a modem over a phone line. Live shots are transmitted over a fiber infrastructure to the broadcast locale with a split feed sent back to Videolink headquarters--in Watertown, Mass.--to be monitored.
