Along with the spring NAB Show, Europe’s IBC Show in the fall gives broadcasters and related media companies a chance to launch new products, debate the latest topics and share ideas on future technologies.
The Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers (SMPTE), the worldwide leader in motion-imaging standards and education for the communications, media, entertainment, and technology industries, today announced that a diverse range of its members will present at the IBC2013 conference in Amsterdam. Representing various elements of the cinema, broadcast, and media technology supply sectors, these 60 SMPTE members will account for roughly 15 percent of IBC2013 speakers. A total of 93 SMPTE members will be exhibiting products and technologies on the expo floor.
