UK Screen Unveils 2007/8 Board of Directors

UK Screen, the trade body that represents UK service companies to the film and television screen industries, has announced its board of directors for 2007/2008.

The board is made up of senior executives from across the service industry who give their time and expertise to the organisation on a voluntary, unpaid basis.

Six directors have been chosen from 11 candidates after a vote open to all full members of the organisation. The new directors are ƒnPaul Bennett, ITV Productions; ƒnJoce Capper, Rushes; ƒnIvan Dunleavy, Pinewood Shepperton PLC; ƒnMark Foligno, Molinare; ƒnAlex Hope, Double Negative; and ƒnBryn Roberts, Barcud Derwen.

As previously announced, Mike Luckwell continues in the role of chairman and Gaynor Davenport remains as CEO. Seven directors drawn by ballot also remain in situ: Colin Brown, UK Film Council; Neil Hatton, Frontier Post; Patrick Holzen, Pepper Post; Mike Kelt, Artem; Anita Nandwani, Films at 59; Steve Norris, Framestore CFC; and Dennis Weinreich, Videosonics.

The new board will have the right to co-opt further directors to meet any shortfall in representation.
