TV Magic Announces Management Changes

TV Magic, a broadcast systems integrator headquartered in San Diego, recently announced a series of promotions and realignments within its management team.

Gus Allman, who has been serving as the group's vice president, is now the chief technology officer. Pat Thompson, formerly vice president of operations at TV Magic, is now senior vice president of sales. The former general manager of the company's Los Angeles office, Frank Geraty, is now the company's vice president of operations and has been elected to its board of directors. Mark Girard, former vice president of technology, has been named to the position of vice president of engineering, and will be in charge of both the TV Magic's Engineering Services Department and Support Services Group.

The changes are part of a reorganization designed to take better advantage of TV Magic's creative and intellectual resources, as well as to recognize the company's recent growth.

"We have always excelled in our ability to focus on our core business of systems integration," said Stephen D. Rosen, president of TV Magic. "With the shift of key team members, we feel we're prepared to apply our proven approach to larger projects and to leverage all of the company's resources more effectively in growing the business."
