Tom Green Web Show Goes To TV

TV personality Tom Green’s late-night Internet talk show will be syndicated to television.

The former MTV performer is partnering with Debmar-Mercury to make the Tom Green Live! available to stations starting January, 2008. The show features interviews with entertainment personalities.

The hour-long program now goes out on the web weeknights at 8 p.m., Pacific Time. The distributor plans to place the show in late-night time slots at local stations.

Green does his show from his living room in Los Angeles, where it will still be produced. Internet distribution will continue alongside the TV broadcasts, but in the future there will be breaks on the show to accommodate advertising.

Green now claims 20,000 live Internet viewers, plus over a half million additional viewers for each show via YouTube, MySpace and other internet video distribution sites. Over 150 episodes of Tom Green Live have already been produced and are available at www.tomgreen.com.
