The Comcast Network, ECAC reach agreement on rowing championships
CN8, the Comcast Network and the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC), have reached an agreement on the broadcast rights for the 2004 Intercollegiate Rowing Association Championships, which air today to 6.2 million homes.

What is the agreement?

Fuel launches action sports filmmakers experiment; winner to receive up to $1 million to make movie
FUEL, a 24-hour action-sports network, has created The FUEL Experiment, a program to provide up to 10 aspiring action-sports filmmakers the chance to produce an action-sports film with a production budget of as much as $100,000.

The FUEL Experiment may also put a production budget of up to an additional $1 million in the hands of the final would-be action-sports filmmaker. The deadline for submissions is Aug. 13.

Clear Channel Communications has established Clear Channel Entertainment Properties to produce live sports and entertainment events.

The production unit will be devoted to producing branded entertainment where an advertiser closely affiliates itself with a performer or event.
