Target offers affordable DTV converter box

Looking to target lower-income families and others watching TV over the air, retail chain Target advertised a DTV converter box that costs only $4.99 with a government-issued $40 coupon. Target said it would immediately offer the low-cost converter, made by Venturer Electronics.

NAB President David Rehr commended the retailer for offering “a valuable customer service by keeping shelves well-stocked with converter boxes and making them affordable.”
