Sport View Technologies selects Ikegami cameras
By TVTechnology published
Sport View Technologies, an integrator of video systems for horse and dog racetracks, has chosen Ikegami HL-60W and HC-D57W digital cameras for its installations. The company has integrated 20 new Ikegami cameras into its custom-built configurations to deliver high-quality signals for the video systems at these facilities.
At the race courses that Sport View Technologies designs systems for, there can be as many as four Ikegami HL-60W-manned cameras in towers, complemented by a HL-60W pan and tilt camera assigned to zooming.
Combining advanced digital signal processing features with compact size and low-power consumption (9.8 watts), the switchable 16:9/4:3 HL-60W is ideal for a wide range of production applications. It includes three-chip AIT 520,000 pixel CCDs and digital signal processing ASIC technology with 0.18-micron design. There's also up to 38-bit internal processing, 67dB signal-to-noise ratio, and a high-picture sensitivity of f 11 and low vertical smear of -135dB.
The Ikegami HC-D57W camcorders features 12-bit DSP ASICs, three-chip AIT CCDs with a sensitivity of f 11 and low vertical smear, switchable 16:9/4:3 aspect ratio image capture and advanced detail (DTL) functions.
