Sony is launching the HD Creation and Workflow Online Expo. This free online event harnesses the power of the Internet to provide insight into tapeless HD production. From shooting and ingest to edit, output, and archive, the HD Creation and Workflow Expo covers it all. The program includes camera system demos, post workflow guidelines, and research material.
One of the highlights is a live panel discussion about HD workflow featuring industry veterans who have worked on 20/20, Survivor and other high-profile video projects for the Smithsonian, Discovery, and others. Following a one-hour discussion, participants will be able to join a Q&A session with the panelists.
The Jan. 15 event is being produced in conjunction with Television Broadcast and other NewBay Media publications, including Government Video, TV Technology, Videography, DV, and Television Broadcast. Registration is available at sony.com/hdvirtualexpo.
