Sigma Electronics has recently named Carl Gardner as the general manager of U.S. sales operations. Gardner will manage Sigma's sales and support staff from Salt Lake City, Utah.

Previously, Gardner was manager of channel partners, western region/regional sales manager for Snell & Wilcox. He was vice president and general manager of Vela Corporation where he managed the company's direct sales force, product management and technical service departments.
