Sennheiser Restructures Marketing Teams

(February 6, 2004) Old Lyme, CT--Sennheiser Electronics has completed a thorough restructuring of its marketing and marketing communications team, shifting key personnel into new positions, making new hires, and aligning its operations into business management channels. This new organizational structure will help the marketing staff better serve its internal and external customers and respond to channel-specific needs.
The new focus on business management channels consists of the following appointments: Karl Winkler, formerly director of marketing communications, will head the Pro/MI/Installed Sound division and Rob Douglas will spearhead Consumer Electronics. Audiology will be the new responsibility of Denise Lavoie, with Michael Feldbauer guiding Aviation. New hire Dennis Zembower joins Sennheiser as business manager for Guideport and Tourguide. Marketing Communications will be taken over by a new hire, and Kristy Jo Haima remains in charge of artist relations. Sennheiser Communications, the company's newest division, will continue to be led by Bill Whearty who resumes sales and marketing responsibilities for that division.
