SAMMA Systems Appoints Barry Nulman VP, Sales for Southwest Region

Media migration and digital encoding company SAMMA Systems has appointed Barry Nulman as vice president, sales operations for the Southwest region. Based in Burbank, Calif., Nulman will be responsible for sales operations for Southern California, Southern Nevada and Arizona, with an emphasis on client relations, business development services and customer support.

Nulman has more than 20 years of experience in the entertainment industry and technology sectors. He most recently served as chief operating officer of Matchframe Media Group. Previously, he supervised Avid Technology's market development in Hollywood, primarily responsible for the company's deployment of HD there. As president of The Post Group he expanded the company's business units and launched the promo division of what is now called Fox Sports Net. He also served as president of Anderson Video at Universal Studios. He is an associate member of ACE and an active member of the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.
