Lew Warren, director and general manager of KVCR, the public television station in San Bernardino, received "the exciter control panel from the TV station's old, replaced transmitter", according to an article in the San Bernardino Sun. The article called it "one of the best gifts" and commented "How many people do we know who can launch into retirement with their exciter under control?"
