At NAB2006, Quantel will launch its TimeMagic technology for the eQ multiresolution post-production suite. The eQ platform combines editing, effects, color grading and deliverables into a single system.
TimeMagic eliminates the wait for rendering by adding a second Media Engine and controller into the Quantel system. The combination ensures that the operator has real-time interactivity while rendering is processed in the background without interrupting the operator’s workflow.
Also slated for NAB introduction is an enhanced Pablo, a next-generation color correction system offering real-time 4K operation.
