Quantel announces Artist of the Year

Société Radio-Canada (SRC) graphic designer Alain Provost has won both the North American Regional, and overall International, Quantel Artist of the Year Awards at this year's BDA/PROMAX annual convention in Los Angeles, CA.

Provost's winning entry, a complete program graphics package he produced for SRC's coverage of the 2001 Edmonton World Athletics Championships, was chosen ahead of nearly 350 competing entries from around the world. The work was produced entirely on a Quantel HAL system.
