Pro-Bel Appoints Adrian Scott to Senior Marketing Position

Pro-Bel, manufacturer of routing switchers, signal processing, master control, automation and control and monitoring technologies has appointed Adrian Scott as director and chief marketing officer. In this new role, created for Scott, he is overseeing Pro-Bel's marketing and communications functions worldwide.

Scott has had a long career in broadcasting and broadcast technology, and has held the positions of vice president of marketing (EMEA) for Avid's newsroom subsidiary iNews, and director of marketing for Autocue. For the last four years he has been running his own company, the Bakewell House Consultancy. Scott said Pro-Bel has been one of his major clients for about 18 months.

"Adrian has a great record as an evangelist for new technologies and new methods in our industry; I regard Adrian as one of the few people capable of conveying to the market the degree of change that Pro-Bel has embraced; his appointment is an important step in our development," said Pro-Bel CEO Graham Pitman.

Pro-Bel recently announced its intention to stage an IPO later in 2006. This follows a management buyout from the Chyron Corp. in 2003, and its acquisition of infrastructure company Vistek in 2005.
