Playboy Enterprises today launched Spice HD, television's first HD adult channel.
Spice HD will offer more than 1,200 hours of HD programming, featuring live daily shows such as "Spice Clips" and a TV reality series called "Unzipped."
The rollout of Spice HD come just as the cable industry holds its final Western Show in Anaheim, where networks used to cut their biggest carriage deals with cable operators, before consolidation cut down drastically on the number of operators.
Spice HD will initially be carried on Rainbow Media's new DBS service, Voom.
