Pixel Power brings Clarity to “Brassed Off Britain”
By TVTechnology published
The BBC's interactive television show “Brassed Off Britain” is using a Pixel Power Clarity system for the creation of graphics this season.
The BBC producers were looking for a graphics solution that would allow them to generate sophisticated graphical analysis of live voting data, in real time. Voting data for “Brassed Off Britain” is collected from telephones, Web sites and interactive TV voters, collated by the BBC database, and then accessed by Clarity through an Excel spreadsheet.
Clarity is a family of multi-format, single and multichannel graphics systems addressing the character generation, still/clip store and animated graphics requirements of television broadcasters and post-production. Available in combinations of standard and HD formats, some models can simulcast both SD and HD signals from a single system.
