Pixcom, a Montreal-based company providing technical services to France Television for Olympic coverage, has chosen Leitch Technology to supply key components for production of the Athens Olympics.
Leitch is supplying Pixcom with a wide range of products on a rental basis, including 6800+ modular interface products, Panacea compact multiformat routing switchers and Integrator Gold wideband digital multirate routers.
The Integrator Gold router scales from 8x8 to 128x128 and provides a clear growth path from lower bit rate AES, SDI and ASI to high-bandwidth, HD format signals.
Panacea, a compact router, offers on-air quality in every format from analog to HD. The 6800+ modular interface platform features increased module capacity up to 20 cards in 2RU, the ability to mix and match signal formats and functionality and free serial and card-edge configuration and control.
