Pace To Launch HD DVR Box at Cable Show

Pace Micro Technology the digital set-top box provider specializing in the development of emerging technologies across a variety of TV platforms, plans to unveil its Tahoe HD Digital Video Recorder STB at cable's National Show starting this weekend in San Francisco (Booth #5958).
The new box includes SATA (serial advanced technology architecture) for connecting external hard drives, flexible dual decoding for HD programming and an expandable 160 Gb next-generation internal hard drive. Also, it features HD picture-in-picture, home media server DVR functionality, and its new silicon technology for optimized analog video.

Pace said the Tahoe is built with a common platform designed to operate on a variety of North American cable networks.
