Newseum to distribute uncompressed HD with Opticomm fiber system
The Newseum, the world's first interactive museum of news, is expanding to feature six levels of displays and experiences that go far beyond the offerings of the original facility in Arlington, VA.
Located between the U.S. Capitol and the White House in Washington, D.C., the new museum will deliver content to various theaters, projectors and digital screens located throughout the facility in HD at resolutions up to 1920 x 1200 progressive via Opticomm’s single-fiber DVI-1000 system. Using Opticomm’s optical fiber system ensures uncompressed video can be fed to the various locations.
