NBC Teams With Miranda For HD
By TVTechnology published
NBC Universal has signed a multi-year deal with Miranda Technologies to provide the media giant with HD terminal, channel branding, and multi-imaging solutions as part of the global media and entertainment company's project to standardize its new HD facility build-outs. The versatility of the award-winning XVP-801i HD/SD Universal Video Processor Cross Converter was a key element in NBC Universal's decision to opt for Miranda solutions.
As part of the purchase, NBC Universal chose HD Imagestore units for channel branding, Kaleido K2 multi-image display processors, and an array of HD interfacing modules that includes the XVP 801i.
Miranda's solutions will also be integrated into the NBC Olympics facilities, and will be online for the 2006/2008 Olympics in Torino and Beijing.
