Miranda to demo iControl monitoring at SUPERCOMM 2005

Miranda’s iControl includes scripted macros that guide operators through complex diagnostic and repair procedures.

Miranda Technologies will show its iControl monitoring and control over IP system at SUPERCOMM 2005 in June 6-9 in Chicago. iControl will be adapted for key applications, including network operations centers for cable, satellite and IPTV.

iControl leverages industry-standard SNMP protocols for monitoring and control of video, as well as all of the surrounding transmission, networking and building infrastructure.

A new Third Party Zone feature allows third-party applications to be hosted directly within iControl. When problems occur with a third-party element, iControl will automatically reveal the third-party application for the failed element.

Also added are scripted macros that allow automatic reaction to element failures or guide operators through complex diagnostic and repair procedures. All these features enable operators to diagnose and repair complex systems more effectively, reducing downtime.
