Systems integrator Magna Systems and Engineering has inked a deal with Australian Systems Integration that will see the two companies join forces on major projects throughout 2009. The decision comes in response to the volume of projects in the pipeline this year.
Magna Systems General Manager David Bowers said: "Graeme [Paech] and his team at ASI have significant design, consultancy and integration expertise in the installation of high-end professional media and communications systems so they compliment our in-house capabilities perfectly. This teaming arrangement strengthens the services we are offering our clients and gives us significantly more resources to handle major SI projects throughout 2009 and beyond."
The agreement allows Magna to concentrate on its core services of system architecture and design with ASI providing professional services, drafting and design implementation.
ASI Managing Director Graeme Paech added: "The new teaming arrangement with Magna Systems is an excellent progression of the long and successful relationship we have already enjoyed. There are a number of large scale SI projects that we will be working on and our combined teams enjoy a formidable combination of experience, expertise and high calibre solution solving."
