Lyon Video, a provider of production and post-production services for film and video, purchased 10 new Ikegami HK-388W full-digital cameras for its new 53-foot Mobile Unit 5 (MU5).
The Ikegami HK-388W uses newly developed 640,000-pixel 2/3-inch FIT CCDS to help deliver high resolution and extremely accurate color fidelity. It offers instant switchability between 4:3 and 16:9 and uses a 10MHz ultra-wideband component triax system, capable of delivering high resolution pictures even at long cable lengths.
Lyon Video, whose clients include Fox Sports, ESPN, ABC and other networks, has over 40 Ikegami broadcast cameras.
All Mobile Video is also using 13 Ikegami in its coverage of the 2002 World Cup.
