London-Based nucoda launches film finishing solution, digital media player and more at IBC2003

London-based nucoda, will hold its European debut of the nucoda film master, a resolution-independent film finishing solution, and nucoda data play, a digital media player at IBC2003.

The company will also show a new version of the nucoda data conform 2K conform and review solution. All three solutions are available for Linux and Windows.

The nucoda film master v1 offers a real-time feature-set with plug-ins for the entire digital intermediate process. Users can conform from EDL or AAF, perform many primary and secondary color grading functions in real-time on 2K,10-bit log files, remove defects and make last-minute edits. The product uses FilmLight’s ‘Truelight’ color cube.

The nucoda data play enables editors and artists to playback 2K,10-bit log sequences in real-time from the RAM of a standard PC exactly as they would appear in a cinema or on television.

Also to be introduced at the show is the company's latest release of data conform 2K, a conform and review solution featuring Linux support, pan and scan, online comparison with offline using dynamic snapshots and auto blow-up, edgecode support and versioning and optional HD playout.
