Leitch is launching the X75HD up/down/cross converter and synchronizer.
The 1RU device features level and color control, optional 3D adaptive color decoding, noise reduction, frame synchronization and conversion in multiple directions. The X75HD has 16 channels of internal audio processing that has timing with video for lip sync corrections, level control and analog-to-digital and digital-to-analog conversion.
Additionally, the device is able to convert from up to seven input formats, the X75HD and also handles HDTV optical fiber, HD-SDI, SDI, DV, composite video and more.
Tim Thorsteinson, president and CEO of Leitch called the X75HD the "all-in-one solution broadcasters have been waiting for to simplify their transition to HDTV."
