Los Angeles-based KNBC recently purchased a Euphonix System 5-B digital audio broadcast console for news broadcast use at its Burbank studio.
The System 5 can handle 40 faders, over 80 channel signal paths, has 192 AES inputs and 72 mic/line analog inputs. It also includes redundant power supplies and more than 100 digital outputs connected directly to the router.
KNBC will install the console this fall.
