KIDS Tour de France broadcaster chooses Inscriber RTX for graphics, frame buffer control

Kiwi International Design Systems (KIDS) won’t have to race to bring up-to-the-minute graphics and information about the Tour de France to its North American broadcast audience this year.

RTX is a programming tool for custom broadcast applications in sports, elections and news that provides broadcasters with direct control over frame buffer technology.

KIDS is using Inscriber's RTX to provide the graphics for this year's Tour de France race. RTX is a programming tool for custom broadcast applications in sports, elections and news that provides broadcasters with direct control over frame buffer technology.

This direct access allows broadcasters to develop custom applications to broadcast graphics, rolls and crawls, animations, real-time data, video clip playback and multi-zone support.

KIDS is providing all of the graphics for Outdoor Life Network's (OLN) North American television broadcast of this year's race.

Using RTX, KIDS is supplying real-time graphics and information on cyclists, tour statistics and race times.

By generating multiple graphics from a single control point, KIDS can simultaneously provide branded graphics for OLN and generic graphics as needed.
