In support of workflow efficiency and new service provisioning for broadcasters and content providers, Harris will showcase its H-Class Content Delivery Platform at IBC 2005 (Hall 8, Stand 8.291). The system is designed for moving and managing content from the time it is created until it is distributed to multiple consumer devices.

The H-Class Platform is a scalable, standards-based, enterprise-class platform that supports an integrated set of software applications. Through the use of metadata, the H-Class Platform provides a layer of intelligence that enables users to automatically transfer content with associated business rules for greater efficiencies, assured transactions and increased profitability.

IBC demonstrations will show delivery of revenue-generating services, including mobile video, IPTV, HDTV and video-on-demand. The company will demo the software’s ability to manage and transport content from ingest to consumption via multiple, simultaneous multi-format delivery streams.

The new H-Class Media Business System will be shown sharing traffic, billing and program scheduling rules with these applications as content moves through the digital media supply chain.
