Cincinnati, OH--Harris' Broadcast Communications Division has implemented a staff reduction of approximately 5% of the U.S. workforce. Jobs have been eliminated in the Mason, OH, Quincy, IL, and Sunnyvale, CA offices of the company. The layoffs are part of an effort by the Harris Corporation to return its commercial division to profitability.
